A small company from Poland developed a new technology to save energy resources and reduce CO2 emissions from large-scale energy systems. Its essence lies in the load sharing on the elements of the energy system subject to satisfaction of each customer at minimum cost of energy resources.

The company is flexible to the collaboration but is interested in technology transfer under license, commercial agreements with technical assistance etc. Other collaboration types can be considered.

Details:

A Polish company is offering a new technology saving energy resources and reducing CO2 emissions from large-scale energy systems (ES). Saving energy resources and the corresponding reduction in CO2 emissions achieved by the optimal load sharing on the equipment in the ES is primarily due to lower fuel consumption. The technology can be used in gas production and supply, in electricity production and supply, in water supply, in production liquefied gas, chemical industry, etc. Principles of technology, mathematical tools and algorithms are tested on real objects of ES.

The optimum combination of modes is calculated based on actual equipment characteristics, operating conditions, cost of energy resources, needs of consumers, depreciation of equipment, limitations of operating modes, the losses in distribution networks, etc. The ES can be of any complexity and size. The more complex ES and the bigger size, the greater the positive effect of the proposed technology. The proposed technology accurately calculates when and what kind of equipment or group of equipment must be turned on or off in the ES. In addition, the technology calculates precisely which mode of operation should be established for each of the powered equipment.

The technology calculates and displays the current and the minimum possible consumption of energy resources in each equipment at each control level and in the amount of the entire ES. Simultaneously, the technology calculates and displays the total maximum possible savings of energy resources at whole ES. Current and minimum possible consumption of energy resources and the value of their savings are shown in real, relative and monetary terms.

The proposed technology provides the most secure, reliable and cheapest work of the entire ES.

Saving of energy resources and a corresponding reduction in CO2 emissions occur immediately after the application of technology in the automatic mode of operation at a one facility of ES, for example, at a one compressor station in a gas supply system or at a one power unit in a power station. The technology is specifically designed to extend step by step from the bottom to the top control level of ES of one country or several countries on the basis of the information pyramid. The positive effect increases with each step under the dissemination of technology to other facilities and to levels of control ES.
