A binational (DE-NL) consortium is preparing a proposal for FP7-SME-2013 call. SMEs, research partners and a large enterprise as supporting partner are going to research into the safety of highly loaded thick walled composite structures. Subjects to be investigated are damage triggering mechanisms, damage tolerance and catastrophic failure in relation to production technology. The consortium is looking for a SME partner (except from DE, NL) with expertise in flywheel development & construction.
