英文原文:A research institute from Latvia, actively working in the field of renewable energy resources, is looking for cooperation partner with knowledge and know-how in aerofoil of wind generator blades design. The rotor blades will be used for wind power generators operating in low wind speed areas. The institute seeks for cooperation with research institutes and companies expecting to sign research cooperation agreement. In 2012, the installed wind power generators’ capacity in the European Union totally was 105 000 megawatts (MW) - enough to supply 7% of the EU's electricity. The main part of this capacity is produced by large scale wind power generators, only small part is produced by micro scale (up to 10kW) generators. Micro generators are mainly used for private needs: house, farm, etc. The most significant obstacle, slowing down installation of micro power generators is low wind speeds in mainland. The average wind speeds in European mainland are 3.5-4.5 m/sec. To increase the efficiency of wind generators, very crucial is aerofoil of blades. The required aerofoil of blades should ensure generator operation starting with wind speed ~1 m/sec. At average wind speed 3.5-4.5 m/sec the generator should work with at least 50% efficiency. Various cooperation options are sought – joint design of generator blades, testing of generator blades, making the prototypes of generator blades, participation in Horizon 2020 project application. The generator should start operation at wind speed 1m/sec. 50% efficiency – at wind speed 3.5-4.5 m/sec. 100% efficiency - starting from 7-8 m/sec and up to 12 m/sec.
